SUBSTANCE: invention relates to primary processing of flax material, namely to methods of preparation of a layer of trust for machining in production lines for production of long scutched fibers.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of process of dosed supply of a layer of linseed, accuracy of formation of its linear density, uniformity of layer and its supply and is achieved by the fact that in the method of dosed supply of a layer of linseed, consisting in controlled supply of a layer of linseed to the zone of compaction of material under condition of exceeding supply of material above its extraction, selecting portions of stems with gear disks and feeding the layer into the thinning channel, selecting portions of stems with gear discs at a controlled sampling rate and linear density below a given process value, and the linseed layer with specified technological value of linear density is formed by their adjustable seal before supply into thinning channel.
