FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying, in particular, to drying methods of stem cork-fiber materials, namely linseed retting straw. In the flax fiber straw drying method, which involves supply of the initial layer of the flax straw, formation of stems sealing zone due to intermittent action of forces caused by application of friction links in drive of structural elements, sealing stems, selecting portions of stems of equal volume from the compaction zone, forming a layer from the portions, transporting the layer in the drying zone having a height and width limitation, with simultaneous drying when the heat carrier is supplied along the stems, before layer is supplied into drying zone it is loosened till thickness exceeding value of drying zone height, and layer with thickness equal to height of drying zone, is simultaneously formed with movement of the layer, its compaction at the inlet to the drying zone by the surfaces of continuous conveyor belts limiting the height of the drying zone.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase uniformity of moisture content of stems of flax straw after drying and more rational use of heat carrier due to quality of preparation of layer of flax fiber straw to drying process.
