THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING DEPOSITION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N25/18 G01N17/00 G01K13/00 H01L35/28

Abstract RU 2728817 C1

FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and can be used to control the deposits formed on the used device, which can negatively affect the device performance and/or the fluid medium efficiency for its intended purpose. Fluid flow systems may contain one or more thermoelectric devices in contact with fluid flowing through the system. One or more thermoelectric devices can operate in temperature control mode and in measurement mode. Thermal behaviour of one or more thermoelectric devices can be analysed to determine the level of deposition formed on thermoelectric device(s) from fluid flowing through the system. Determination of deposition characteristics on thermoelectric devices operating at different temperatures can be used to establish a temperature-dependent delay profile. Said profile of deposition can be used to determine whether there is a probability of laying in different places in the system, for example, in the used device or in the flow vessel. Detected deposition conditions can initiate one or more corrective actions that can be taken to remove deposits or to prevent or minimize formation of deposits, before deposition has a negative effect on operation of the system.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of device due to removal of deposits or minimizing formation of deposits, before deposits adversely affect operation of system.
