FIELD: soil science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to soil science, namely to micromorphology of soils, and is intended for making of thin sections from soil specimens of undisturbed structure. Method includes impregnation, cutting, gluing and grinding of sample. At that, all operations are carried out at room temperature, micromonolite is placed in a container of aluminum foil with thickness of 150 mcm, impregnated with a super-liquid epoxy two-component system of Diamant Premier E-1016 with complete immersion of sample, evacuation is carried out in three stages, each of which includes 2 minutes with residual pressure of 20 mm Hg and one minute at normal pressure, and polymerized for seven days.
EFFECT: simplified technology of making thin sections.
