FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely, to design of fodder empennage of underwater facility, the purpose of which is provision of stability and controllability of underwater facility. Submarine aft cross-shaped empennage includes horizontal and vertical upper and lower protruding parts made at the aft part of the body in front of the propulsor, wherein at each rear edge of the protruding parts on radii corresponding to the characteristic size of the propulsor, there is at least one hole for supplying the water jet, which serves to compensate for distortions and non-uniformities of the flow associated with hydrodynamic vortex traces from the flow around the protruding parts, and reduced degree of velocity field inhomogeneity in aft end of underwater object.

EFFECT: reduced degree of non-uniformity of velocity field in aft end of underwater object due to reduction of circumferential inhomogeneity of field of flow velocities flowing on propulsor of underwater object, without reduction of operational reliability and increase in towing resistance of underwater object.
