FIELD: vehicles with electric traction.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle comprises storage battery unit, temperature sensors in vehicle cabin, HVAC control module and electronic control unit, which includes a power reserve calculator. Power reserve calculator is configured to determine the main load, to select the basic additional load from the table based on: first temperature measured by temperature sensors, user selected temperature value and amount of time elapsed since first temperature measurement by temperature sensors. Travel power calculator determines additional power load based on solar energy load, convective power load and selected basic additional power load and calculates vehicle power reserve based on the main power load, additional power load and charge of accumulator batteries. Also disclosed is a method for determining an estimated vehicle travel margin.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of evaluation of vehicle travel margin.
