SUBSTANCE: invention relates to profile (10, 20) for a piece of furniture, structurally designed to provide a first connection position (30) and a second connection position (31) in relation to a piece of furniture. Technical result is achieved due to that profile (10, 10A, 20, 20A) for piece of furniture is structurally made with possibility of providing at least one of first connection position (30) and second connection position (31, 31A) with reference to structural element (200) of furniture item, wherein the first and second joint positions (30, 31, 31A) are obtained by profile (10, 10A, 20, 20A) relative transverse turn relative to second profile (10, 10A, 20, 20A), wherein second profile (20, 20A) comprises first edge (21, 21A) and second edge (22, 22A) passing along opposite sides of its length, wherein the first and second connection positions (30, 31, 31A) respectively define a first type of finish and a second type of finishing a piece of furniture, wherein the first type of finishing is provided due to the structural configuration of first edge (21, 21A) of second profile (20, 20A), and second type of finish is provided due to structural configuration of second edge (22, 22A) of second profile (20, 20A), wherein change of first position (30) of connection to second position (31, 31A) of connection also enables to change the overall appearance of furniture, wherein general view of furniture item is determined by location of at least one of first and second edges (21, 21A, 22A) of second profile (20, 20A) relative to structural element (200) of furniture, as well as technical result is achieved by system of such profiles and method of their assembly.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a flexible approach to manufacturing and assembling a profile and its corresponding system and allowing the user to easily obtain several versions of finishing.
