SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting fittings (3) for a piece of furniture (5), in particular a piece of upholstered furniture, having first part (10) configured to be attached to part (1) of furniture, and second part (20) configured to be attached to second part (2) of furniture, wherein first part (10) has receiving element (11) for support edge (21) of second part (20), and second part (20) is made with possibility of rotation relative to first part (10) around support edge (21) in first angular range. On first part (10) there is guide surface (15), which contacts with second part (20) by means of sliding surface (26) during rotation in the second angular range and further displaces second part (20) in translation relative to first part (10), wherein first part (10) has locking element at the end of guide surface (15) whereon second part (20) can be locked against rotation.
EFFECT: creation of connecting fittings, which due to simple design provides reliable fastening of furniture parts to each other.
