FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: presence of high voltage sensor, which includes housing of sensor (1), shin (2) coming from housing of sensor, and connector for indicator (3), installed on sensor housing, characterized by that it comprises sensor unit from series-connected resistors (4) and capacitors (5), installed inside housing so, that on one side is connected with tire, and on other side - with connector for indicator.

EFFECT: technical result of implementing the disclosed solution is high accuracy of determining presence of high voltage and reduced overall dimensions; also such sensor has relatively low weight and small dimensions, which makes it convenient to install on existing devices; absence of magnetic properties promotes independence of influence on the sensor of large dynamic forces occurring in distribution devices in case of short circuits.
