SUBSTANCE: adjustable capacitive high-voltage sensor includes a capacitance, which is the first electrode - the core of the cable; cable insulation; the second electrode, which is a wound electrically conductive pad with the possibility of changing the winding pitch and length; and output connectors. In this case, the insulated core of the existing cable is used as the first electrode; the electrically conductive pad is made in the form of an insulating tape with a conductive layer, wound on an insulated core of the existing cable; two connectors are used, which are capable of controlling the integrity of the electrically conductive pad and indicating the presence of high voltage.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the sensor, reduction of its size and simplification of the design, ease of installation.
