FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave equipment and is intended for investigation of action of electromagnetic radiation on biological objects, applicable in biology, medicine, agriculture. In an apparatus for electromagnetic radiation of biological objects, consisting of a source of microwave energy, a section of a rectangular waveguide with a switch, chambers of radiotransparent material, nonreciprocal element connected between microwave energy source and piece of rectangular waveguide, new is that rectangular waveguide is made in form of central and two side sections of one working section, wherein two side sections of waveguide are connected to two open ends of central coaxially, and in center of wide wall of central section of waveguide there is a radiating antenna, symmetrically relative to which in lateral sections there are chambers made of radiotransparent material, and after them in side sections of waveguide in center of their wide walls receiving antennas are installed, behind which movable short circuitor are located, and between the nonreciprocal element and the radiating antenna there are connected in series, along and against the direction of passage of microwave energy, two directed couplers, at the same time power meters are connected to outputs of the directional couplers and receiving antennae.

EFFECT: improved functionality of the device and control over the process of UHF energy impact on biological objects.
