FIELD: multibeam antennas of radar and radio navigation systems for shaping fan of independent beams (partial directivity patterns) in space.

SUBSTANCE: novelty is that starts of signal feeder lines (array inputs) are disposed in array incorporating arbitrarily disposed signal and feeder lines electromagnetically intercoupled at intersection nodes by means of eight-pole directional couplers on opposite ends of quadrilateral lattice structure of array. Finishes of feeder lines are connected to absorbing loads; number N of signal feeder lines equals number of partial directivity patterns (beams) formed in space. Number of radiating feeder lines equals number M of radiating components assembled into antenna curtain and connected to starts of radiating lines. This array makes it possible to use multibeam antennas having about 15 partial directivity patterns in standard Russian-made waveguides.

EFFECT: facilitated assembly, erection, and arrangement of array.
