FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of heat-mass-exchange packed columns and can be used in implementation of rectification processes. Heat-mass-exchange column consists of a body with at least two packages of an arched nozzle arranged in height, located between them at least one header and at least one fluid distributor, each pack of the nozzle, each header, each fluid distributor is installed in the shell. Heat-mass-exchange column along the entire height includes at least two O-rings arranged so that the upper one is located on the upper boundary of the upper shell of the nozzle, and the lower one - on the lower boundary of the lower shell of the nozzle.
EFFECT: invention increases intensity of rectification processes in heat-and-mass exchange column due to complete elimination of the phenomenon of liquid wall-wall entrainment, secondary redistribution of liquid, reducing the phenomenon of mud-splitting and introduction of additional heat insulation without significant increase in vertical dimensions of heat-mass exchange column.
