SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the antenna equipment. Method of magnetic antenna (frame or ferrite) calibration by sensitivity to magnetic field intensity, consisting of inductance coil, oscillatory circuit tuned to resonance by introducing a calibrated magnetic antenna into a magnetic field already known from intensity and frequency and determining the sensitivity of the magnetic antenna, consists in the fact that to determine the wave resistance of the magnetic antenna, the solenoid impedance is known and is set by its reactivity, in the plane of the homogeneous magnetic field of the solenoid, a magnetic antenna is inserted, and wave resistance of magnetic antenna is determined by equality of reactances of solenoid, which creates magnetic field and magnetic antenna, determined by maximum sensitivity of calibrated magnetic antenna.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of calibrating magnetic antenna.
