Dosage form releasing an active substance in the oral cavity of the subject, containing drotaverine as an active substance or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in a therapeutically effective amount and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier providing a form releasing an active substance in the oral cavity, characterized by that it contains drotaverine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in form of a complex with a taste masking agent in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:10, wherein the taste masking agent is cyclodextrin. Method for administering drotaverine into a subject, comprising placing the dosage form in an individual's oral cavity.

EFFECT: above described dose of drotaverine releases active component in oral cavity and has good taste characteristics.
