FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to a biodegradable transmucosal delivery system comprising a complex of drotaverine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a taste masking agent, such as cyclodextrin, in a weight ratio of 1:10 to 10:1 and one or more auxiliary components providing a form suitable for application on the oral mucosa, where drotaverine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt is present in a therapeutically effective amount. Invention also discloses: a method of making said system, as well as a method for transmucosal delivery of drotaverine into an individual's body by superimposing said system on a mucosal surface of the oral cavity.
EFFECT: group of inventions widens the range of drug preparations with drotaverine in the form of a transmucosal delivery system having good taste properties.
