FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to aircraft with short or vertical takeoff and landing with hybrid power plant. Airplane with short or vertical take-off and landing with hybrid power plant includes fuselage, wings of swept configuration, sustainer power plant, electric generator, storage batteries, two or more lifting engines, cabin, and control system. In front part of fuselage two support cantilevers of auxiliary wings with variable aerodynamic characteristics on both sides of fuselage are provided. To create lifting reactive moments in takeoff, hovering and landing in at least two directions modes rotary screw-type rotary electric motors with folding propellers at cruise flight mode are provided. At that, flows of outflowing jets from lifting screw motors in takeoff mode, hovering and landing in at least two directions are aimed at tips of auxiliary wings with variable aerodynamic characteristics at angle of 30–90 degrees in direction of horizontal flight.
EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption at takeoff, landing and hovering modes.
