FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive pneumatic light truck tires of radial design, maximum load of which does not exceed 650 kg, and maximum permissible speed is more than 210 km/h, rubber-coated carcass web of which consists of one layer of rubberized textile cord. Pneumatic radial passenger tire is characterized by application of rubber-coated polyester textile cord of 1670 dtex structure in rubberized carcass cloth with cord layer thickness of 0.6÷0.8 mm, tensile strength of cord thread of not less than 200 N, number of torsion of base warp of first and second twist 300÷340 revolutions per 1 m, with threads frequency by warp 100÷110 threads per 100 mm and by weft 9÷11 threads per 100 mm, with rubberized carcass web thickness of 1.0÷1.1 mm, using frame rubber, providing strength of bonding of cord thread with frame rubber of not less than 170 N/10 mm, using an impregnating composition based on vinylpyridine latex, wherein in the finished tire, the pitch of the threads in the rubber-coated carcass cloth in the bead area is 0.9–1.0, and in track area 1.3–1.7.
EFFECT: higher overall performance of the pneumatic tire, reduced coefficient of rolling resistance, as well as increased elasticity of carcass web and circumferential rigidity of the tire, which affect improvement of resistance of tires to lateral pull.
