FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive pneumatic light truck tires of radial design, maximum load of which is not less than 950 kg, rubber-coated carcass web of which consists of two layers of rubberized textile cord. Pneumatic tire is characterized by using in rubberized carcass fabric two layers of rubber-coated polyester textile cord structure 1670 dtex, with cord layer thickness 0.6÷0.8 mm, tensile strength of cord thread of not less than 220 N, number of twists of warp threads of the first and second twist 300÷340 rpm per 1 m, with thread frequency by warp 110÷130 threads per 100 mm and by weft 7÷9 threads per 100 mm, with rubberized carcass web thickness of 0.9÷1.1 mm, using frame rubber materials, providing strength of connection of cord thread with carcass rubber of not less than 150 N/10 mm, with application of impregnating composition based on vinylpyridine latex, note here that thread pitch in rubber-coated carcass in the bead area makes 0.8–0.87 while that in the track area makes 1.2–1.45.
EFFECT: higher overall performance of the pneumatic tire, reduced coefficient of rolling resistance, as well as increased elasticity of carcass web and circumferential rigidity of the tire, which affect improvement of resistance of tires to lateral pull.
