SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of providing remote fitting and selection of articles. In the method, an account is created on a site containing a web page for remote fitting of items, a digital model of the human body surface is obtained using contactless 3D scanner, loading the web server into the database of volumetric models of bodies of consumers of the obtained digital model of the human body surface, calculating, using the web server, anthropometric data of the consumer based on the digital model of the surface of the consumer's body, determining, by means of a web server, the most appropriate models of the selected article according to the conformity of the calculated anthropometric data of the consumer's body and the dimensional parameters of the article from the products database, performing, using a web server, fitting the article by creating a three-dimensional image of a mannequin with human body parameters obtained by superimposing a three-dimensional model of the selected article onto the three-dimensional model of the consumer's body, with possibility of simultaneous application of more than one article on body volume model.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of remote automated sampling accuracy and product selection.
