FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended for use in phased antenna arrays (PAA) for constructing a radiating PAA system. According to the method rectangular dielectric substrates are placed with lines of printed dipoles above the conducting screen, establishing dielectric substrates so that their planes are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the conducting screen, and the printed vibrators are located equidistant in the nodes of the rectangular grid, wherein the distance dY between the adjacent dielectric substrates along the Y axis is set from the condition of providing the required scanning sector in the Y plane, and the distance dX between the printed dipoles along the X axis under the condition of providing the required scanning sector in the X plane, each printed vibrator is supplied with the help of the strip line, which is connected to the external feeder. Length of vibrators arms is set to not more than 0.5 λW, where λW is the wave length of the upper boundary of the operating range of the antenna array, setting the pitch of dipoles dY and dX from the condition of providing the required scanning sector at wavelength λW, performing the vibrator arms in the form of a right-angled triangle, the right angles of which are arranged at extreme upper points of the vibrator, wherein upper edges of vibrators arms are arranged horizontally, vertical rectangular metal striping strips are arranged between arms of adjacent vibrators, height of upper edge of which does not exceed height of upper edge of vibrator arms, and lower edge does not touch conductive screen, placing above each vibrator a metal coating strip of rectangular shape with length less than length of vibrator so that height of substrates with vibrators and these strips does not exceed 0.3 λW.
EFFECT: lower antenna profile height.
