FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended for use in transceiving active phased antenna arrays (APAA). This method consists in that printed vibrators with arms from conducting metal plates are placed on dielectric substrate above conducting screen, wherein the printed vibrators are arranged equidistantly in the nodes of the rectangular grid, and each printed vibrator is supplied with the help of the strip line, which is connected to the external feeder, wherein the plane of the dielectric substrate with the printed vibrators is placed parallel to the conducting screen, wherein the length of the printed dipoles is reduced such that their pitch in the X plane does not exceed 0.25 λw, where λw is wavelength of the upper boundary of the working range of the antenna array, and the pitch of the printed vibrators in the Y plane is reduced so that the edges of the arms of the neighboring printed dipoles touch each other.

EFFECT: lower antenna profile height.
