FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in transmit-receive active phased array antennas. Technical result of the invention is weight reduction and increased vibration strength of the antenna array. Essence of the invention consists in the following: rectangular insulating substrates, each including printed dipoles are installed so that planes of insulating substrates are parallel to each other and perpendicular to a conducting screen, arms of printed dipoles are parallel to a conducting screen at the height less or equal to λ/4, where λ is the average wavelength of operating wavelength range of the antenna array. Distance dy between adjacent insulating substrates along Y axis is established to ensure the required scanning sector in plane Y, and the distance dx between centers of printed dipoles along X axis is established to ensure the required scanning sector in plane X. Rectangular slots are made in each insulating substrate in its upper and lower parts between printed dipoles. Insulating substrates are connected to each other along Y axis by tight installation of square-section insulating profiles in these slots, crosswise grooves are made in places of installation of square-section insulating profiles in slots. Insulating profiles connected to lower edges of insulating substrates are attached to conducting screen by adhesive or screws.

EFFECT: each printed dipoles are powered with the help of a strip line, its connection to an external feeder is carried out by a plug-in connector.
