SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in satellite communication systems. To this end, in a communication system based on using a grouping of low-orbit satellites in such a way that signals emitted by low-orbiting satellites, will not appear within the width of the main lobe of the beam pattern of geostationary satellites of earth station antennae, and satellites having a configuration, allowing to provide communication due to control of radiation of the main beam lobes, which may include a forward part of the main lobe and a backward portion of the main lobe, which width can be controlled so that during main lobe emission to reduce or completely exclude probability of interference for earth station antennae induced on geostationary satellites. This system and low-orbit satellites can provide substantially 100 % coverage of earth stations communication located anywhere on Earth's surface, without coordination with geostationary satellites and earth stations induced on geostationary satellites. System can also provide for availability of earth stations, which have configuration, increasing separation of communication system using geostationary satellites and communication system using low-orbit satellites using same spectrum of frequencies, and reducing the probability that earth station antennae induced on a geostationary satellite will capture signals of low-orbit satellites.
EFFECT: technical result consists in multiple use of communication frequency spectrum allocated for geostationary satellites.
