SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, specifically to surface treatment of polymer materials used in the manufacture of dressings, active pharmaceutical substances, and discloses a method of introducing a pharmaceutical substance into the polymeric substrate of the dressing. Method consists in that surface treatment of polymer particles is carried out by three-stage action of supersonic gas jet at temperature of 100–500 °C in presence of pharmaceutical substances, characterized by that ratio of gas mass flow to mass flow of polymer particles is equal to 0.1–0.15, processed polymer materials enter the receiving chamber in the form of powder, granules or melt, pharmaceutical substances can be introduced in the form of powder or solution, and frequency of supersonic oscillations varies in range of 5–25 kHz, increasing from stage to stage by 10 kHz.

EFFECT: invention enables to include pharmaceutical substances in the polymer matrix, and minimizes losses of pharmaceutical substances.
