SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetic industry and can be used for temperature indication in cosmetic procedures associated with hair heating. Method of performing a cosmetic procedure for human keratin fibres, which is carried out at a certain temperature, comprises a step of applying on the required keratin fibre sections a cosmetically acceptable agent capable of activating at the specified temperature of the procedure, and holding the keratin fibres at the activation temperature of said cosmetically acceptable agent for the time required for the cosmetic procedure, wherein said cosmetic procedure is selected from reduction, lamination and/or straightening of human keratin fibres and said cosmetically acceptable agent contains a thermally indicator dye or a mixture of thermal indicator dyes which is cosmetically acceptable for use on human keratin fibres, having a transition temperature at a temperature corresponding to said activation temperature of said cosmetically acceptable agent and/or said cosmetic procedure performance temperature.
EFFECT: invention provides temperature monitoring and indication with various cosmetic procedures associated with hair.
