FIELD: wood-processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood-processing industry, in particular to equipment for birch bark separation from bast. Device for birch bark separation from bast comprises multi-row chain conveyor (1), on drive shaft (2) of which from one free end is mounted power transmission, and on the other – pulley. Pulley is connected by means of belt transmission to driven shaft (6), on free ends of which unbalances are fixed. Receiving hopper (9) and units (10) with spring-loaded freely rotating gears (11) are rigidly fixed on bed (8) on top of conveyor. Bearing units (12) of drive shaft conveyor are mounted on bed, and conveyor frame (13) and bed in area of driven shaft are disconnected by means of springs (14).

EFFECT: improved quality of separating birch bark from bast, reduced power consumption and increased reliability of device design.
