FIELD: timber processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the timber processing industry, in particular to equipment for separating birch bark from bast. The installation for separating birch bark from bast includes a frame, a receiving hopper for bast and birch bark. The device contains two multi-row chain transmissions mounted on the frame opposite to each other and connected by means of a chain transmission through a safety coupling to an electric engine. Inside each multi-row chain transmission, tensioners are placed consisting of cylindrical rollers installed on rocker arms, free ends of which are connected to a frame case by means of springs.
EFFECT: quality of separating birch bark from bast is increased, energy consumption is reduced, and reliability of the structure is increased.
