SUBSTANCE: equipment for separating birch bark from bast. The installation for separating birch bark from bast includes a housing made in the form of a hollow cylinder made of non-magnetic material, which is mounted on two bearing supports, while electromagnets are mounted on the outer side of the housing, offset relative to each other by 120 degrees and connected through one of the bearing supports and an adjustable current collector with an electrical power source, and on the opposite side - through another support and a belt drive with an electric motor.
EFFECT: quality of birch bark is improved and the design is simplified.
