FIELD: transportation; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an auxiliary power plant of a vehicle. Auxiliary power plant comprises internal combustion engine, generator driven by engine, cooling unit, electrical equipment, fuel feed system. Axes of internal combustion engine and generator are parallel, equipped with pulleys with communication by means of polychain belt with tension device or reduction gear with gearwheels. Auxiliary power plant also includes a cooling system, a fuel system, an air cleaning system, an exhaust system, pre-heating heating system with heaters comprises automation and control system. Dimensions of auxiliary power plant are adapted to configuration of seat in vehicle under protection of armor. Bracket is used as attachment of auxiliary power plant units.
EFFECT: higher safety and survivability of combat vehicle.
