SEA TARGET DESTRUCTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B63G9/00

Abstract RU 2742904 C1

FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: method of destroying a marine target, in which a torpedo is prepared for firing, introduction of a route task into its on-board system, fired from the torpedo tube towards the target, and an on-board target detection system. After the target is detected, homing is performed, when two or more targets are detected, redistribution is performed between the detachable warheads, an individual task is introduced into the on-board control system of each warhead, separated from the torpedo carrier, evaded countermeasures and false targets are bypassed, the target is brought closer to the target, the explosive charge is exploded and the target is struck. In addition, control of the torpedo, classification of detected targets and target distribution between them for each detachable warhead is performed with participation of the operator in remote control mode. When operation of the hydro-acoustic means of the enemy is detected, the on-board detection system is put into the hydroacoustic suppression mode and signals preventing the detection of the torpedo are emitted and determination of its true location, detecting the main target and aiming at it torpedo-carrier and two or more detachable mini-drones, distributing on the target body surface points of their aiming.

EFFECT: high probability of actively destructing sea target engagement caused by operator participation in target classification and distribution of detected targets between torpedo and detachable warheads, on-board devices of the torpedo of hydroacoustic countermeasures to enemy detection means.
