FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing norbornyl(meth)acrylate, particularly a method of producing norbornyl(meth)acrylate by converting norbornene with (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of boron trifluoride as a catalyst, where a) feeding boron trifluoride in (meth)acrylic acid, b) loading the material is heated to temperature of 75 to 110 °C, c) adding norbornene; and d) obtaining norbornyl(meth)acrylate is separated from the reaction mixture, wherein the conversion is carried out in the presence of a stabilizer which inhibits polymerisation of (meth)acrylic acid and in the presence of oxygen.
EFFECT: task is to extract high-purity norbornyl(meth)acrylate from the reaction mixture with high output without using fractionated distillation.
