FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of multichannel detection of a noise-like radio signal source. Decisive statistics are used, allowing to take into account inter-channel correlation of spectral counts of received signals, which is caused by presence of external noise in real conditions. Analysis of attainable efficiency of detection of noise-like radio signal sources in conditions of real saturated electromagnetic environment is carried out due to accumulation of channel and mutual (inter-channel) spectral components of radio signal in time and within radio signal frequency band.

EFFECT: high probability of correct detection of a signal with a fixed probability of false alarm when using a multichannel monopulse detector-direction finder with an antenna system of arbitrary structure, with an arbitrary number (at least two) and characteristics of the antenna elements.
