FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in multichannel monopulse detectors-direction finders of radio monitoring systems for solving problems of direction finding of sources of polarized radio signals. In the disclosed method, a decisive direction-finding function is determined, which takes into account the mutual energies between all pairs of spatial channels accumulated from spectral readings of the signal and the directivity characteristics of the antenna system from the vertical and horizontal components of the electric field of the polarized radio signal.
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of monopulse direction finding of sources of polarized radio signals.
