FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used in medical and technical rehabilitation of patients with orthoses. Orthopedic damper for knee joint orthoses comprises a chamber and a movable piston. Chamber is equipped with a cover, a spring and a piston inserted into the chamber. Constant neodymium magnet is attached to the front part of the piston by means of a screw, which is made in the form of a washer with thickness of 4–7 mm. From the rear side to the piston the rod is attached, on which a spring is installed, the end of which rests against the cover of the chamber. Chamber is made with diameter of 17.5–18.5 mm. Constant neodymium magnet is attached at the bottom of the chamber by means of a screw; the magnet is made in the form of a washer with thickness of 4–7 mm. Neodymium magnets are located unipolar relative to each other.
EFFECT: invention provides minimizing effect of impact loads on joint arising during movement.
