FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing, in particular to a method for fire extinguishing with finely dispersed water, and can be used in industrial enterprises, in commercial and public premises. Method of fire extinguishing by a fine water installation, having a first sprayer with low water supply intensity and a second sprayer with high water supply intensity, characterized by that the first sprayer operates continuously and irrigates the perimeter of the protected area, creating a hollow irrigation canopy, and the second sprayer operates in a cyclic manner and supplies water inside the canopy directly to the source of ignition, wherein the sprayers are arranged such that when the second sprayer is switched on, the water flow therefrom due to the high speed entrains the water flow from the first sprayer, and the water from both sprayers is directed directly to the fire source, and when second sprayer is disconnected, irrigation canopy of first sprayer is restored to initial dimensions, additionally creating a continuous irrigation field.

EFFECT: technical result when implementing the declared invention consists in improvement of efficiency of fire extinguishing at low water consumption due to application of two-mode algorithm of water supply with different intensity.
