FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining electrical engineering, in particular, to devices monitoring condition of line and contact sensors of position of movable mechanisms of mining equipment. Such a result is achieved by a device for monitoring a wire communication line with a series-connected switching contact with diodes, consisting of a generator of pulses of alternating polarity, spark-proof circuit, controlled communication line with sensor, isolation resistor, first diode, second diode, protective stabilitron, non-inverting amplifier, first integrating RC-circuit forming first diagnostic voltage, inverting amplifier, a second integrating RC circuit which generates a second diagnostic voltage, a microcontroller which, based on logic levels of the first and second diagnostic voltages, determines sensor and line conditions.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the design while providing high reliability, as well as the ability to detect four conditions of the line: Short Circuit in Line, Line Break, Normal Operation, Sensor ON, Normal Operation, Sensor OFF.
