FIELD: lubricants.

SUBSTANCE: present invention describes use of an additive which is an alkyl acrylate polymer, which is mixed with lubricating oil using high shear mixer with speed equal to at least 400 rpm, wherein lubricating oil contains main component of oil, which contains at least 75 wt % synthetic base oil of the main component oil weight, and at least 0.0005 wt % and less than 0.1 wt % alkyl acrylate polymer from the weight of the lubricating oil is mixed with the lubricating oil, where the alkyl acrylate polymer is an alkyl acrylate homopolymer, having at least 3 but less than 7 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, or the alkyl acrylate polymer is a copolymer of at least two different alkyl acrylates, in which the alkyl radical has from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and in which the average number of carbon atoms in the alkyl radicals of the copolymer molecule is at least 3 but less than 7 in terms of moles.

EFFECT: technical result is improved removal of air from lubricating oil, measured according to ASTM D3427.
