FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a lubricant composition containing: (a) one or more polyalkyleneglycolic base oils, which are copolymers of butylene oxide and propylene oxide, (b) at least one detergent, selected from salicylates or phenolates, in amount of 0.2 to 2 wt%, where polyalkyleneglycolic base oil(s) is(are) obtained as a result of reaction of at least one alcohol containing 8 to 20 carbon atoms, and a mixture of butylene oxide and propylene oxide, wherein said mixture has weight ratio of butylene oxide to propylene oxide of 3:1 to 1:3, and kinematic viscosity polyalkyleneglycolic base oils at 100 °C, measured in accordance with ASTM D445, ranges from 1 to 12 cST. Present invention relates to application of lubricant composition (versions).
EFFECT: obtaining a lubricant composition with reduced Noack volatility.
