SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to railway transport, particularly, to versions of absorbing apparatus. Absorbing apparatus comprises a housing, a resilient member, a shock absorber and a thrust plate. Plate is movable relative to housing. Shock absorber consists of cylinder filled with compressible liquid elastomer, and two-sided rod with piston. Inner cavity of the cylinder is closed by the filling and working covers. Ratio of thickness of thrust plate to length of outer part of rod is 0.17–0.21. In one embodiment, ratio is 0.19. In another version, the thickness of plate is 37±1 mm, and the outer part of rod is 196±1 mm.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of absorbing apparatus.
