FIELD: underwater technical works.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater technical works on laying oil and gas pipelines. Method of underwater laying of large-diameter pipelines consists in the fact that laying of pipeline on subsea base is performed using a general-purpose crane vessel, several common barge-sites for arrangement and connection of pipes, and auxiliary tugs-pushers positioning together with crane vessel of barge-site with welded pipes relative to pipeline route. In the process implementation, periodically displaced free barges are installed in the end face to each other for preparation of the next branches of the pipeline and their further submersion by the crane vessel.
EFFECT: possibility of efficient use of equipment at the end of pipeline laying in other jobs.
