FIELD: laying underwater pipe lines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe laying vessel is provided with propulsor, tower whose top may be inclined forward in expended direction of laying pipe line, device for raising the section of pipe line from deck to level of tower, device for connecting this section with laid section of pipe line and lower ramp provided with rollers for guiding the pipe line being laid. Said tower is installed in fore portion of vessel. Vessel is provided with devices for assembly of pipe sections, tensioners which may grip pipe line and launch it at retained tension and at least one clip for gripping the pipe line below tensioners.
EFFECT: extended field of application.
