FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used for investment casting. Installation contains working chamber (1) with permeable membrane (2) for arrangement of dampening material layer. Pressure and suction branch pipes arranged under the membrane are connected to the air supply under the layer of sprinkling material and pumping air from under the layer of sprinkling material by air duct systems (3, 4) with distribution valves. Pressure and suction branch pipes of the supply and discharge air systems of the air ducts are connected to one vacuum cleaner (5) with power of 0.6 kW.
EFFECT: higher drying speed of shell moulds and possibility to control their quality with simplification of design, saving place occupied by installation, and energy saving.
