SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oral composition. Double-layer multi-active composition contains the first layer containing basic yeast and the first set of active components, as well as the second layer containing basic yeast and the second set of active components. First layer provides immediate release of first set of active ingredients in first position in gastrointestinal tract, and the second layer provides a modified release of the second set of active ingredients in a second position in the gastrointestinal tract. Basic yeast from the first layer promotes modified release of the second set of active components from the second layer. Alternatively, the first multi-B layer of the vitamin composition contains base yeast and a first set of vitamins B containing riboflavin (B2) and cyanocobalamin (B12), and the second layer contains base yeast and a second set of B vitamins selected from a group consisting of folic acid, biotin, niacinamide (B3), pyridoxine (B6), pantothenic acid (B5), thiamine (B1), and combinations thereof. Two-layer compositions can contain a film coating which covers the first layer and the second layer. Double-layer multi-B vitamin composition may be presented in the form of a modified release tablet and used for prevention or treatment, e.g. vitamin B deficiency.
