FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to the technology of growing phototrophic microorganisms. Method for cultivation of phototrophic microorganisms includes preparation of inoculum, nutrient medium for selected type of phototrophic microorganism. Subsequent supply of atmospheric air into working chamber of photobioreactor. Thereafter, culture fluid is mixed by pumping and bubbling. Previously prepared cell suspension of phototrophic microorganisms and the reflecting plate from the hydrogel with high albedo are placed into the photobioreactor. Maintain the illumination level of 100 ± 5 mcmol/m2*s at different times of the day automatically by changing electric voltage on artificial lighting sources from 3.6 to 5 V depending on voltage change on photoresistors by formula:

where V is voltage supplied to artificial lighting sources, V; E is voltage on photoresistors, V.

EFFECT: invention ensures achievement of technical result consisting in improvement of energy efficiency and reduction of energy costs for cultivation process due to possibility of using modes of adaptive lighting and increasing level of illumination in culture liquid in photobioreactor using reflecting plate from hydrogel with high albedo.
