SUBSTANCE: method of electrospark coating of the workpiece surface using a vibrating electrode includes coating in periodic contacting of the electrode with the workpiece surface, at the moment of the contact of which discharge of a pre-charged storage capacitor is performed. Thereby in the process of coating stabilization of the discharge current is carried out by adjusting the duration of the electrode contact with the surface of the workpiece, for the time of the current contact is compared with the optimum contact time equal to the time of complete discharge of the fully charged storage capacitor, and the time of the electrode contact with the workpiece surface is changed by bringing the duration time of the current contact to the duration time of optimum contact.

EFFECT: stabilization of the discharge current in electrospark coating of the workpiece surface by means of a manual vibrator, improved coating quality.
