CATHETER PUMP HAVING PUMP HEAD FOR INSERTION INTO ARTERIAL VASCULAR BED Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61M1/10 A61M1/12

Abstract RU 2732382 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to catheter pumps, which are used as a system of temporary circulatory support, particularly in aorta of patients, in particular, when a natural heart is unable to provide the body with sufficient oxygenated blood. Catheter pump comprises a pump head for insertion into the arterial vascular bed. Pump head has a transfer element configured to move from a folded insertion position, wherein the pump head is configured to be inserted into the arterial vascular bed, into the unfolded working position, and a cell surrounding the transfer member. Cage has a distal and a proximal coupling and filaments that pass between the couplings. Provided is a supporting part that is conjugated with the relevant coupling in axial direction. Supporting part has peripheral groove, in which annular element is provided, which is retained in axial direction, and coupling has at least one recess, in which coupling is welded with annular element.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at the problem of reliable arrangement of cell clutches on the catheter so that reliable distribution is possible.
