FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical devices. Catheter pump is intended for introduction into blood circulation system of mammal in order to support heart. Pump comprises hollow catheter, sleeve enclosing hollow catheter and moving axially relative to hollow catheter. Drive rod is located in hollow of catheter. Drive shaft is connected to distal end of drive rod for bringing it into rotation. Propeller is fitted on drive shaft. Proximal and distal housings are located on proximal and distal ends of drive shaft. Group of threads is located between proximal and distal housings. Proximal housing is connected to hollow catheter, distal housing is connected to drive shaft. Sleeve is made with possibility of approaching distal and proximal housings by axial movement of sleeve at first section relative to hollow catheter, providing deployment of threads to form cell. Drive shaft is equipped with axle, providing possibility of turning propeller with transition between its first folded state, in which propeller is parallel to drive shaft, and unfolded State, in which it is perpendicular to drive shaft. Drive shaft is enveloped with tube, bearing actuating pins made movable in axial direction for interaction with cam surface of propeller corresponding to each activating pin for its deployment. Actuating pins are connected to tube, have possibility of action on cam surface of propeller, providing its opening by axial movement of sleeve at second length, following first section.
