FIELD: metal rolling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling and is intended for blocking of bearing when bearing 200 is set on roller trunnion and bearing is removed from roller journal by means of bearing locking device. Device 100 of the bearing blocking contains threaded ring 110 pushed on the trunnion of the roll. In its turn the thread ring has external thread. Roller journal is provided with stop 315, 120 proximal to roll barrel and barrel far from roll barrel' to limit thread ring 110 axial movement. Besides, the bearing locking device 100 comprises annular nut 130 with internal thread 132 for screwing onto external thread 112 of threaded ring 110. To ensure safer screwing and unscrewing of the ring nut and to not press the screws during operation, in compliance with the invention, thrust ring 140 is installed between bearing 200 and threaded ring 110 with possibility of movement in the axial direction. Besides, in threaded ring 110 into axial threaded holes there is possibility of screwing of multiple screws 115 for axial pressing on thrust ring 140. Ring nut 130 can be screwed on or adjusted relative to thrust ring (140).

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of increasing the safety of the bearing blocking during the bearing mounting onto the roll neck and separation of the bearing from the roller trunnion, in particular, due to exclusion of the use of the crane cable, and removal of load from the used screws for a long period of time.
