FIELD: technological processes, metal working.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to device for creation of preload in conical roller bearing fixed by means of conic fit at narrowing journal of roller installed in mill chocks, in particular, support roller, by means of hydraulic pressure action. In process of rolling pressure is put on internal race of bearing, rollers and external cartridge of conical roller bearing, and the pressure provides for radial tension of bearing relative to roller. Ring-shaped device is provided for pressure pulling, which supports the roller via axial bearing arranged at end journal of roller, moreover, ring-shaped device is installed in contact with external race of conic roller bearing, and under action of pressure it shifts the chock with external race of bearing in direction to roller barrel or the roller itself in the opposite direction.

EFFECT: increased service life of bearing, elimination of rollers vibration in process of installation and higher quality of rolled metal.
